Manager, Corporate Advisory (Valuations and M&A)

Responsibilities would include:
  • Lead and execute valuationand M&Aengagements, managing teams to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Conduct valuations of businesses, securities, and intangible assets using various methodologies including discounted cash flow, capitalised maintainable earnings, and option pricing models
  • Analyse market data, and industry trends to determine valuation inputs
  • Construct, review, and amend financial models
  • Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for clients
  • Review and interpret financial statements to determine business operations, drivers and performance indicators
  • Assisting in other advisory work such as transaction support, mergers & acquisitions, business planning, and reorganisation
  • Working closely with directors on client management, practice development, and business development activities

Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, professional qualifications such as CPA, FRM, CFA, or CVA are advantageous
  • 5 to 10 years of valuation or financial due diligence experience, preferably within an accounting or professional services firm, or in a banking environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with excellent analytical and evaluation abilities and strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated, capable of working independently, while also building effective relationships with senior management and thriving in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and passion for adding value
