Job summary

A major aviation organization in Singapore seeks a candidate for a cost management role in the Development Contracts team. The position requires a degree in Building or Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in contract management for large projects. Qualifications

Overview

Changi Airport Group is part of the inter-agency team developing Changi East, which encompasses the Changi Airport's future Terminal 5. Changi Airport Group welcomes you to join us today as part of the team helping to shape Singapore's aviation future.


Responsibilities

As part of the Development Contracts and Cost Control team, you will support the cost management functions and pre and post contract administration of contracts for Changi East. You will be involved in budgeting & cost estimating, preparation of tender documents, tender evaluation reports, progress payments, assessment of change/variation requests and claims related to the project. You will work closely with Project Officers, consultants including designers and quantity surveyors on cost estimates and provide support in the construction funding process. You will also work closely with the Project Officers, providing them with contractual support to resolve issues with partners and stakeholders such as consultants and contractors.


Qualifications / Requirements


  • Degree in Building, Engineering or related disciplines

  • For the advertised role, at least 8 years' of relevant experience in contract management of large scale building or infrastructure projects. Those with fewer years of relevant experience may be considered for a less senior position.

  • Excellent understanding of good procurement strategies and practices

  • Previous experience in MOF DPC Gateway Process and management of consultants' works will be an added advantage

  • Proficient in MS Office Applications

  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Able to multi-task effectively and a good team player

  • This is a 3-year contract position
