What The Role Is
You are responsible for creating and maintaining a repository of research portfolios to facilitate strategic communications planning as well as formulate long-term information trends for presentation and analysis.
What You Will Be Working On
- Assess effects of strategic communication campaigns on public perception
- Analyse how perceptions and behaviours are shaped by various influences
- Incorporate existing and emerging research tools and technologies to better sense-make public sentiments and issues
- Strengthen predictive capabilities and analyses
- Guide actions and responses based on data-driven insights
Challenge(s)
- Deciphering good and bad data/information in a saturated, fast-paced environment
What We Are Looking For
- Education in Social Sciences, Mass Communication, or Science and Technology (Information and Communication Technology, Digital Media, Information Science, etc.)
- Experience in the fields of media, marketing research, or info-comm technology is preferred
- Active interest in Singapore's political, defence and security developments
- Keen awareness of current affairs
- Acute awareness of regional and international media environment
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Proficiency in a vernacular language is advantageous
