The Manager (Communications) is responsible for strategy and implementation of programme marketing initiatives, with strengths in digital communications. This role will require close collaboration with the Foundation’s programme teams and the media and digital content teams. You will play a key role in conceptualising marketing and communications strategies (digital and mainstream media) for various funded programmes, developing messaging angles, prioritising, and carrying out compelling marketing tactics and plans jointly with the programme teams and the communications team.

Reporting to Head (Corporate Development), the Manager (Communications) is responsible for the following:

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on programme marketing communications strategy, including digital marketing and communications efforts, to promote target audience engagement, brand awareness and programme storytelling
  • Work closely with programme teams to establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Work directly with key internal and external stakeholders to support programme communications and marketing needs, build and implement marketing plans to profile programmes and projects to their respective target audiences, such as industry players, potential grantees, communities, corporate stakeholders, or the general public
  • Design and implement channel marketing activities for various programme-based communications and work with the respective content teams to operationalise the plans
  • Working in partnership with the creative team, develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all marketing and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking
  • and analysis, and optimise accordingly
  • Manage programme communications/ publicity budgets and ensure optimal utilisation towards marketing objectives
  • Form and safeguard excellent partner relationships for joint accomplishment of programme marketing goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the social service or public sector
  • Strong knowledge of integrated marketing strategies, including digital communications efforts, and tools
  • Have an eye for good story and narrative angles
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
  • Experience in managing budgets and measuring ROI
  • Experience with content creation is a plus
