Job Description Summary

The incumbent will be tasked with taking an active role in designing, implementing, and maintaining ISCS systems.

Key Job Accountabilities

  1. Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ISCS systems to ensure maximum performance.
  2. Work closely with clients to determine their needs.
  3. Build and manage close customer relationships.
  4. Ask pertinent questions that lead to arriving at solutions.
  5. Develop solution options and supporting data regarding key performance factors that matter to the client.
  6. Present solution options and evaluate tradeoffs.
  7. Develop and maintain operational documentation.
  8. Lead system operation inputs for OMPD correlating to systems architecture, functional, safety, and performance design inputs for ISAD, GFR, and ISPS documents.
  9. Attend regular monthly OMPD meetings with clients and various SWCs to finalize the content of OMPD for joint review, agreement, sign-off, and submission.
  10. Assist the Project Manager, Technical Manager, and Technical Specialists with regards to the execution of Project Deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  1. Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Communications, or Computer Engineering with 5-10 years’ proven track record.
  2. At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the railway industry.
  3. Good knowledge of standard contractual/commercial terms and conditions for engineering projects.
  4. Possess relevant SCADA systems knowledge.
  5. Familiar with Railway Integrated Supervisory Control System (ISCS).
  6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  8. Proficiency in commonly used and specialized software.
  9. Demonstrated ability to work in high-paced and changing environments.

Reporting Relationship

The incumbent reports to VP/Head, C3, Mobility Rail.
