Job summary

Income Insurance Limited seeks a data-focused professional to support data management, planning, and financial modelling activities across the business.

You will process large datasets from multiple sources, ensure data integrity, assist annual planning, and help develop robust projection models in collaboration with finance, strategy and legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Process, validate, reconcile, and analyse large datasets to support financial projections and reporting.
• Maintain data integrity and quality across models and outputs.
• Identify opportunities to automate and scale data processes.
• Support development of analytical tools, data, and reporting solutions.
• Assist annual business planning with financial projections, assumptions, model updates.
• Collaborate with finance, strategy, legal and business units to align planning activities.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly data, reconciliation, and analysis for performance reporting.
• Produce recurring management reports and financial analyses for senior management.
• Ensure timely and accurate planning and reporting outputs.
• Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of planning processes.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial projection models.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess performance under varying assumptions.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and governance of models, assumptions, and outputs.
• Continuously improve modelling methodologies, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency and robustness.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Analytics

• Process, validate, reconcile, and analyse large and complex datasets from multiple sources to support financial projections and reporting.
• Maintain data integrity and quality across models and reporting outputs.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and scalability of data processes.
• Support the development and enhancement of analytical tools, data, and reporting solutions.

Business Planning & Reporting Support

• Support the annual business planning process through preparation of financial projections, assumption setting, model updates, and analytical reviews.
• Partner with stakeholders such as business units, finance, legal, and strategy teams to ensure alignment and execution of business planning activities.
• Perform BAU data preparation, reconciliation, and analysis required for monthly/quarterly business performance reporting.
• Prepare recurring management reports and financial analysis used by Business Finance and senior management.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of planning and reporting outputs.
• Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of planning and reporting processes.

Financial Modelling & Analysis

• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial projection models
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess business performance under varying assumptions and conditions.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and governance of financial models, assumptions, and related analytical outputs.
• Continuously improve modelling methodologies, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency, robustness, and scalability.
