Income Insurance Limited is seeking a Manager for Business Development in P Lines Distribution to drive growth while ensuring regulatory compliance. We seek a Manager, Business Development (P Lines Distribution) to drive growth and ensure regulatory compliance across our broker and corporate agent channels. This role balances business development with governance responsibilities to support sustainable growth in the Personal Lines segment.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and corporate agents.
Build and grow strong relationships with brokers and partners to drive new businesses.
Identify new markets, partnerships, and cross-sell opportunities
Monitor and analyse sales portfolio performance and develop strategies to keep intermediary performance on track.
Oversee billing processes, payment approvals, and credit control coordination.
Conduct comprehensive product training sessions and partner briefings to ensure intermediaries are well-informed of the latest product updates, facilitating clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders.
Address intermediary queries and support sales enablement initiatives.
Uphold risk and compliance standards by:
Ensuring data protection and secure handling of sales information (e.g., password-protected reports, PII checks).
Overseeing CPD tracking, GIA onboarding, AML screenings, and annual renewals.
Maintaining a clean-desk policy and adherence to internal governance procedures.
Identify areas for operational improvement and service enhancement.
Maintain documentation such as meeting minutes, follow-ups, and compliance tracking.
Requirements
Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in insurance distribution or intermediary management, with account servicing experience.
Strong knowledge and experience in Personal Lines products and GIA requirements.
Analytical, detail-oriented and proactive in solving problems and improving processes
Certifications such as BCP, PGI, ComGI, or HI in General insurance are preferred.
