Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renowned wildlife parks connecting visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, integrating five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces, and an eco-friendly resort.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Reporting to Deputy Vice President, Sales and Experience Development, with the key scope of:
- Responsible for prospecting, selling, and closing agreements with current event spaces.
- Identify new business opportunities, develop business strategies, and build a pipeline to grow local corporate sales for Mandai.
- Develop new clients and expand the client base by identifying business potential.
- Develop local corporate, meeting, and social events business based on current venues, with upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, emails, and client visits.
- Execute the end-to-end process from prospecting, managing leads, proposals, negotiations, to closing and agreements.
- Implement and execute annual sales plans to achieve revenue, customer, and activity goals.
- Manage and supervise key accounts from various corporate industries.
- Maintain high product and service knowledge to recommend suitable services and facilities.
- Stay updated on competitor performance, product enhancements, pricing, and sales programs.
- Negotiate with stakeholders, partners, and clients to maximize commercial benefits within company guidelines.
- Analyze, forecast, and report on corporate product performance to optimize revenue growth.
- Manage daily sales activities of the team as an added bonus.
Job Requirements
- Degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships.
- Strong network of business contacts.
- Results-driven and sales-oriented to meet revenue targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Independent, proactive team player with a positive attitude, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to undertake additional projects for personal development.
- Able to work on weekends for events when required.
- Possession of a Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
