Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renowned wildlife parks connecting visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces, and an eco-friendly resort.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Deputy Vice President, Sales and Experience Development, with the key scope of:
- Prospecting, selling, and closing agreements with current event spaces.
- Identifying new business opportunities, developing strategies, and building a pipeline to grow local corporate sales for Mandai.
- Developing new clients and expanding the client base through business potential identification.
- Developing local corporate, meeting, and social events business based on current venues, with upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Sourcing partnership opportunities through inbound leads, cold calls, emails, and client visits.
- Managing the end-to-end process from prospecting to closing agreements.
- Implementing and executing an annual sales plan to meet revenue and activity goals.
- Managing and supervising key accounts from various industries.
- Maintaining product and service knowledge to recommend appropriate offerings.
- Monitoring competitors’ performance, pricing, and sales programs.
- Negotiating with stakeholders and clients for optimal benefits.
- Analyzing and reporting on product performance to optimize revenue.
- Managing daily sales activities of the team is a plus.
Job Requirements
- Degree with at least 8 years of experience in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships.
- Strong network of business contacts.
- Results-driven and sales-oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Independent, proactive team player with a positive attitude, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Willing to undertake additional projects for development.
- Available to work on weekends for events.
- Having a Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
