Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renowned wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to Deputy Vice President, Sales and Experience Development with the key scope of:
Responsible for prospecting, selling and closing of agreements with the current event spaces.
Identify new business opportunities, derive business strategies and build prospective pipeline to grow the share of local corporate sales for Mandai.
Ability to identify business potential to develop new clients and business to expand client base.
Identify and develop local corporate, meeting and social events business based on current venues. Ability to upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Source for partnership opportunities and outreach through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and client visits.
Implement and execute end-to-end process from prospecting, management of leads pipeline, proposal, negotiation, closure and agreement.
Implement and execute annual sales plan addressing revenue, customers and sales activity plan to achieve the overall events sales revenue goals.
Personally manage and actively supervise the management of selected key accounts from various corporate industries.
Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to recommend the appropriate services and facilities to end-users.
Maintain and update the current and future competitor’s performance, product enhancement, pricing and sales programs.
Negotiate with stakeholders, business partners and clients to achieve the optimal commercial benefits in accordance with company’s contract guidelines and policies.
Analyze, forecast, measure and report the results of various corporate products to help optimize revenue growth.
Manage day-to-day sales activities of the team will be an added bonus.
Job Requirements
Degree with minimally 8 years of relevant work experience in Tourism and Hospitality, Business Development, Sales and/or partnerships.
Possess a strong network of business contacts over the course of career.
Sales-driven and result-oriented to meet revenue goals.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of personal energy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with an analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
An independent and proactive team player with a positive attitude, detail-minded, able to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Aptitude and willingness to undertake additional projects for own development.
Able to work on weekends for events when required.
Having a class three driving license will be an added advantage.
