Position: Committee & Strategic Planning Executive – Community Chest
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Immediate Start)
Working Hours: 42 hours per week
Role Overview
This strategic role supports the Community Chest Committee, offering a unique opportunity to work closely with key decision-makers and contribute to shaping Singapore’s social services landscape. The position combines high-level committee management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement, requiring strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Committee Management & Support
- Serve as the primary liaison for Community Chest Committee members, providing comprehensive administrative and operational support.
- Coordinate committee meetings, including venue arrangements, logistics, and hospitality management.
- Prepare and distribute high-quality meeting materials, including agendas, minutes, presentation decks, and analytical reports.
- Implement robust tracking systems for meeting action items and ensure timely follow-up with stakeholders.
- Maintain systematic documentation of committee proceedings and decisions.
2. Stakeholder Communications
- Craft and manage professional communications with committee members and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective information flow between committee members and relevant parties.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
3. Policy & Strategic Planning
- Support strategic planning initiatives and contribute to policy development.
- Assist in the evaluation and improvement of existing processes.
- Manage special projects assigned by senior leadership.

- Degree or higher qualification.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong initiative, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Meticulous attention to detail with superior organisational skills.
- Proven ability to drive results and complete projects efficiently.
- Proficiency in preparing comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to analyse complex information and present it clearly.
- Experience in committee or board support (advantageous).
- Relevant experience in planning, stakeholder management, and handling competing priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent written communication abilities.
- Experience in public sector operations (preferred).
- Knowledge of Singapore’s social service and fundraising landscape (advantageous).
