Job summary

National Environment Agency (NEA) in Singapore is seeking a budget and resource planning professional to join the Finance Division. You will manage the end-to-end annual budget cycle, review requests, monitor utilisation and report to management.

You will evaluate funding proposals, partner with departments and external stakeholders, identify opportunities to leverage technology and strengthen governance through policy and process reviews.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Business, Accountancy or related discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience in budget management and/or development project funding processes in the public sector is preferred.
• Familiarity with prevailing Government Finance policies.
• Highly motivated, meticulous, analytical and resourceful.
• Excellent written, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Independent and a good team player.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office tools.

You will be joining the Budget and Resource Planning Department within the Finance Division to plan, secure and manage resources needed to achieve NEA's mission.

What you will be working on

Your key responsibilities will include (but are not restricted to) the following:
