The Military Security Department (MSD) seeks an experienced auditor to join our team, focusing on risk-handling assessments of MINDEF/SAF information and strengthening security controls.
You will develop and review the audit framework for industries, audit the industries to identify risks, and ensure timely rectification of security non-compliances, drawing on 3+ years of auditing experience and knowledge of governance methodologies. Strong interpersonal communication is essential.
You will be part of a team that conducts audits and evaluates risk-handling of MINDEF/ SAF's information.
You will be part of a team to develop and review the audit framework for industries; audit the industries and evaluate risks. You will also have to ensure the rectification of security non-compliances.
You should have a tertiary education, and at least 3 years of experience in auditing, preferably with CISA/CPP/CIA. You should be knowledgeable in security controls, risk assessments, management and governance audit techniques and methodologies. You should also be resourceful and possess good interpersonal communication skills.
The Military Security Department (MSD)’s core business is in Counter Intelligence and internal security for MINDEF/SAF. MSD was formed in 1975 to counter the threats of espionage, subversion and sabotage against MINDEF/SAF. MSD began with two main entities, namely the Counter Intelligence Branch (CIB) and Field Security Branch (FSB). Over the years, the department has continued to evolve and our roles expanded in tandem with the changing security environment. Today, our roles also include Counter Terrorism and Cyber Security.
