What the role is:

What you will be working on:

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations that support MCCY’s broader HR strategies. You will work closely with the HR Business Partners and HR Specialists to deliver efficient and effective HR services. Your role includes the following:• Employee Matters1. Manage employee matters such as recruitment and selection, onboarding, staff movements, contract management, employee engagement, and well-being.2. Address divisions’ HR queries.• HR SystemsManage HR systems (such as HRPS) to ensure prompt updates in staff movement/changes and data accuracy in staff records.• Process ImprovementWork with external and internal stakeholders to execute process improvement initiatives and projects, such as automation of routine HR processes using RPA and digital tools.• Documentation and ReportingManage and update documentation, work with data and process reports (e.g., SOPs, manpower databases, surveys).You could also be involved in projects that transform HR work and drive strategic HR initiatives.

What we are looking for:

Work Experience and Knowledge• At least 3 years of relevant Human Resource experience, preferably in the Public Service.• Experience in working with HR systems such as HRPS to ensure data accuracy and compliance.• Proven ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating sensitivity and empathy in handling HR issues.CompetenciesDemonstrated the following competencies.HR Policies, Processes & Legislation• Understand and apply HR policies, processes and legislations to the organisation and employees.• Communicate key points of, and rationale behind HR policies and processes to employees and line managers.• Gather information and stakeholder feedback required for HR policy and process reviews.• Review HR policies and processes in own area of work under appropriate supervision.Process Management• Identify cause, effect and impact relationships between HR systems, technical tools and processes during daily transactions and policy changes/implementation.• Understand the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and able to recommend process improvements using prevailing tools, techniques and methodologies to streamline or refine HR processes.Ops-Tech Planning & Solutioning• Leverage technology and digital tools as core enablers to optimise and enhance HR functions• Identify errors and troubleshoot (minor) system issues.Behaviour Traits• Strong multi-tasking ability to manage diverse HR functions effectively, coupled with excellent attention to detail. Demonstrates a strong drive to see tasks through to completion, ensuring high quality outcomes that contribute to MCCY’s success.• Proactive and adaptable.
