What you will be working on:

This is a challenging and rewarding portfolio under the Infrastructure and Court Resources Division. The team will lead efforts in the management and maintenance of the judicial facilities, including heritage buildings and conserved structures of national significance. The key responsibilities / duties of this post are listed as follows:· Administration and daily operations management of Mechanical & Electrical services, such as air-conditioning, fire protection, electrical power engineering, plumbing and other related service contracts in accordance with the contract requirements.· Manage the outsourced vendors to ensure smooth operations and to proactively monitor and drive the intervention as needed, such as refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and developing measures to ensure optimal building performance in compliance to relevant workplace health and safety, fire safety, building regulations and authority guidelines.· Carry out and support initiatives from Environmental Sustainability and Green certifications involving staff, energy, water, waste management, 3Rs movement and liaison with authorities.· Support Facilities Management functions on building works, tenancy and ad-hoc booking and rentals, pest control, cleaning and waste disposal; space, office and asset management, etc.· Preparation of invitation to quote/tender documentation and related work in the procuring of goods/services in compliance to procurement guidelines.· Identify gaps, manage and facilitate improvement initiative, cyclical maintenance works to ensure that the equipment/ systems are maintained in good, functional condition· Supervision of contractors on the progress of new/on-going improvement projects and compliance with performance standards and timelines· Coordinating with the users and leading multi-disciplinary technical teams on the ground to comprehensively address building management issues· Conduct audit check on Facilities Management Operations· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on all Facilities Management related operations and improvement works.· Perform the roles of Goods Receiving Officer for goods/services delivered, payment certification and budget tracking.· Be involved in any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:· A degree in Engineering or Building/Estate Management with at least 5 years of relevant work experience· Good working knowledge of government procurement policies and facility management will be an advantage· A good team player with effective interpersonal skills· Possess good written and communication skills· A self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasksNote:Only short-listed candidates will be notified.
