A food safety regulatory body in Singapore is seeking an individual for corporate planning and organizational development. Responsibilities include developing corporate priorities, tracking performance metrics, and working with diverse stakeholders to identify market trends. What you will be working on:
You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the following:
-Develop longer term plans, connecting insights across the agency, and proactively identify opportunities for organisational improvement and growth
-Develop, implement, monitor and review the agency’s corporate priorities and annual work plans to achieve its overall goals as part of the corporate planning process.
-Track progress and analyse the performance and risk metrics, including reporting at the Management and Board levels and provide recommendations for continuous improvements.
-Work with diverse stakeholders (such as IHLs) to conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscapes and potential opportunities.
-Diagnose, design and implement organisation development interventions to drive SFA culture, innovation and Public Sector Transformation, including designing engagement plans and shaping internal communications narratives to convey SFA’s priorities and strategies and organizing staff engagement events,
-Develop and implement strategic resourcing plans, including manpower and financial resourcing, to drive organizational efficiency.
-Perform secretariat duties for Board and key management meetings, amongst others.
You should also have a strong sense of intellectual curiosity and be comfortable in contributing as an individual contributor, manager, or peer leader – depending on the situation. Given the fluid nature of the work, you must be open to other work assigned to you such as organising leadership conversations, coordinating management workshops and developing communication materials.
