Job description

Description:

You will be required to work as part of an Airport Passenger Movement (APM) Development Project and Operations and Maintenance Team responsible for the replacement of existing signalling & communication systems and an additional Skytrain car to its ultimate design capacity, as well as the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the existing APM system. You will also assist in overseeing the maintenance works carried out by the maintenance contractors for APM (i.e., Skytrain) at Changi Airport and monitor their performance. Additionally, you will support Master Planning in studying system capacity and implementing future projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform capacity calculations based on system-level requirements
  2. Evaluate contractor submissions to ensure technical alignment
  3. Adopt market practices to enhance current capabilities
  4. Conduct feasibility studies considering potential scenarios to evaluate enhancements to APM
  5. Assess trade-offs for system changes based on technical and operational implications
  6. Oversee system progress, quality, and manufacturing standards leading up to the factory acceptance test
  7. Establish incident/crisis planning procedures
  8. Perform systemic root cause analysis to resolve maintenance issues
  9. Integrate data insights to assess potential impacts on APM operations and maintenance
  10. Develop Key Technical Provisions for APM
  11. Set enterprise-level capacity calculation strategies considering future changes in the aviation landscape and internal divisional changes (e.g., new airlines)
  12. Set standards for overall system efficiency
  13. Determine business cases for new APM systems, considering enterprise trade-offs
  14. Develop crisis management strategies and failure scenarios, considering all trade-offs (operations, business contingency plans, safety, etc.)
  15. Develop and integrate new technologies (e.g., predictive maintenance) to enhance productivity and efficiency
  16. Test new APM technologies that could potentially change operational concepts and provide technical advisory specific to Changi Airport

Requirements:
