*Responsibilities*
• Lead the kitchen operation team to prepare and deliver quality menu items in accordance with the concept offering.
• Oversee the implementation of processes and guidelines in kitchen operations.
• Train and develop kitchen staff to prepare all meals to the highest quality standards.
• Position kitchen staff according to operational needs to maximize efficiency.
• Manage kitchen inventory levels and ensure quality of products from suppliers.
• Understand food cost models and their impact on restaurant profitability.
• Supervise stations to ensure orders are delivered according to defined processes, recipes, and safety standards.
• Conduct final checks on finished products to ensure quality and presentation meet specifications.
• Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, including ordering and quality checks.
• Support inventory projection and ordering based on sales patterns and storage capacity.
• Oversee setup and cleaning of stations.
• Ensure workflow adheres to specifications and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Investigate customer complaints related to food quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and guidelines.
• Oversee food preparation to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment condition.
• Take corrective actions on safety and compliance issues.
• Lead and motivate the team, providing guidance and support.
• Conduct onboarding for new hires.
• Train staff to meet quality standards and safety practices.
• Manage team activities, including appraisals, disciplinary actions, and communication sessions.
