Job description

Job Title: Assistant Centre Manager Trainee – MindChamps MindSpace

Employment Type: Full-Time (Traineeship Programme)

Duration: 12 months (with pathway to Centre Manager role)

Salary: SGD 2,500 – 3000/month (trainee level, reviewed upon conversion)

Location: Singapore

Are you someone who thrives on both structure and connection? Do you enjoy working with children, organizing day-to-day operations, and also enjoy being on the frontlines talking to parents, leading tours, and influencing enrolments?

If so, you may be the next Centre Manager Trainee we’re looking to grow into a future leader at MindChamps MindSpace.

What You’ll Learn and Do

As a Centre Manager Trainee, you will be mentored closely by an experienced Centre Director and gradually take on responsibilities in three core areas:

Centre Operations

• Oversee daily logistics and ensure smooth centre functioning

• Prepare reports (e.g. petty cash, enrolments, attendance, stocktake)

• Manage merchandise sales (uniforms, caps, books) and inventory

• Ensure safety, student transfer logistics, and daily health protocols

Parent Engagement, Marketing & Sales

• Lead centre tours for prospective parents with confidence and warmth

• Follow up with leads and participate in enrolment-related conversations

• Assist with marketing collaterals, events, open houses and outreach

• Track enrolment KPIs and understand key drivers of growth

Team & Learning Support

• Assist with staff rosters and form submissions

• Support teaching staff in class transitions and champ supervision

• Optional: assist in delivering Primary-level subjects or holiday activities

Who You Are

• Diploma or Degree holder in Business, Early Childhood, Education, Marketing, or similar fields

• A fresh grad or early-career professional looking to grow into a leadership role

• Passionate about working with children and families

• Confident communicator, fluent in English (spoken and written)

• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and basic reporting

• Bonus: Experience in school-based environments, tuition centres, or retail sales

What Success Looks Like

By the end of your traineeship, you should be able to:

• Independently run daily centre operations

• Confidently lead a tour and convert a lead into an enrolment

• Track and report on centre performance

• Step into a confirmed Centre Manager role
