Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director to join our Wealth Management practice in Singapore. The successful candidate will lead major transformation programs for private banks and wealth managers across APAC, with a particular focus on digital enablement, Target Operating Model (TOM) design and implementation, core banking migrations, and technology integration projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, a proven consulting delivery background, and the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale consulting and change initiatives for leading wealth management and private banking clients across APAC.

• Oversee the end-to-end management of digital transformation projects, ensuring delivery is aligned with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.

• Drive the integration and migration of core banking platforms, particularly Avaloq, ensuring seamless operation across multiple regions and business units.

• Provide strategic advisory services on technology and process optimization to achieve impactful business outcomes.

• Manage cross-functional project teams, coordinating stakeholders across different geographies and business divisions.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective stakeholder management, influencing at the senior executive level.

• Mentor and coach junior team members to support their professional development.

• Represent Alpha FMC in client-facing engagements and support business development activities through relationship building and account management.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT consulting, digital transformation, or wealth management projects, ideally within a leading consulting firm or financial institution.

• Proven track record of delivering complex transformation programs for private banks and wealth managers in APAC.

• Expertise in Avaloq core banking system (minimum 10 years), including integration with Oracle SQL, SWIFT, FIX, and related technologies.

• Deep experience in Target Operating Model design, platform migration, and implementation of wealth management solutions.

• Strong background in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Prince2) and experience leading cross-regional delivery teams.

• Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence business strategy.

• Solid experience in business development, client relationship management, and regional growth initiatives.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to navigate technical and non-technical audiences effectively.

• First-class problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
