Responsibilities for Makeup Artist

• Consult with clients to understand their needs and desired bridal look.
• Provide makeup trials for clients prior to their wedding day.
• Create personalized makeup looks for clients on their wedding day, special occasions
• Recommend appropriate makeup styles and products based on client’s skin type and preferences.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times.
• Stay up to date with the latest best practices, tools, and technology in your field
• Determine the necessary supplies and equipment needed
• Understand requirements from a visual and technical standpoint
• Create appropriate hairstyling to complement makeup

Qualifications for Makeup Artist

• Proven work experience as a Makeup Artist, preferably in the bridal industry.
• Knowledge of various makeup looks and application techniques.
• Experience with different skin types and selecting appropriate makeup products.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a makeup artistry program is preferred.
• A professional portfolio of work showcasing skills and versatility.
