Job summary

What you will do

Machinery Technician

• Carry out maintenance, service, and repair of all process equipment with maximum degree of safety and quality.
• Process rotating equipment: centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, diaphragm & metering pumps, screw pump, blower and fan, oil mist & lubricant systems, etc.
• Hydraulic system: hydraulic pump, marine and truck loading arms, hydraulic control system
• Maintain proper records of all jobs performed in the SAP application and participate in mechanical related projects and plant modification work
• Carry out safe and high-quality maintenance, service, and repair of process equipment such as process piping, valves, fixed equipment and structures, utilities systems, and marine and truck loading and unloading systems.
• Maintain proper records of all jobs performed in the SAP application and participate in mechanical related projects and plant modification work
• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance work for all related equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Instrumentation: process transmitters, programmable logic controller, supervisory control and data acquisition.
• Electrical: motor, motor control center, variable frequency drive
• Participate in reliability programs to improve availability rates for all process instrumentation and electrical facilities
• Maintain proper records of all jobs performed in the SAP application and participate in mechanical related projects and plant modification work
• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance work for all electrical power distribution equipment such as gas turbine generator, switchgears, transformers, uninterruptable power supply, DC charger etc.
• Conduct various electrical equipment health assessments such as TanDelta, high potential test, protective relay calibration etc.
• Maintain proper records of all jobs performed in the SAP application and participate in mechanical related projects and plant modification work

About you

• Nitec or Higher Nitec in related Engineering field
• Relevant work experience in the petrochemical or refining industry will be an advantage
