Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance works. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety regulations, assisting in investigations of equipment issues, and maintaining records of all work performed. Candidates must have a minimum of Nitec in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering and prior relevant experience in the lift industry is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance is highly advantageous.
• Possession of own motorbike is compulsory.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting.

Job description

Key Duties:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance works according to schedule and as needed, including standby duties and breakdown support.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental policies, and proper use and maintenance of tools.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and support inspections and audits as required by authorities (e.g., BCA, FSB).
• Assist in investigating equipment damages, accidents, and follow up on QC/QA defects.
• Demonstrate professional conduct, report team-related matters to superiors, and carry out additional duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

• Min. Nitec in Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or relevant
• Prior experience in preventive and corrective maintenance or the lift industry is highly advantageous.
• Possession of own Motorbike is compulsory
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or building systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
