About the Company:
Our client is a leading provider of power systems automation and protection solutions. The company supports Singapore’s utility sector through technologies such as substation automation, SCADA systems, smart metering, and grid management. Backed by strong industry partnerships, they offer end-to-end services from system integration and software development to project execution and maintenance for power and infrastructure projects.

Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Engineer / Engineer to support site maintenance, troubleshooting, and automation system upgrades. This role involves preventive maintenance, PLC programming, HMI updates, and coordination with internal teams and site stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and automation systems.

  • Conduct site troubleshooting and carry out firmware/software updates.

  • Program and implement PLC logic (e.g. Allen Bradley, Yokogawa), and maintain HMI graphics.

  • Support system patching and cybersecurity updates on project hardware/software.

  • Prepare and submit service documentation and reports.

  • Coordinate with site representatives to ensure smooth execution of maintenance tasks.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Requirements:

  • Min. Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with basic IT network knowledge (e.g. firewall, switches).

  • Experience in PLC programming, HMI design, and basic C programming is an added advantage.

  • Valid Class 3/3A driving license is an added advantage.
