Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Engineer / Engineer to support site maintenance, troubleshooting, and automation system upgrades. This role involves preventive maintenance, PLC programming, HMI updates, and coordination with internal teams and site stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and automation systems.
Conduct site troubleshooting and carry out firmware/software updates.
Program and implement PLC logic (e.g. Allen Bradley, Yokogawa), and maintain HMI graphics.
Support system patching and cybersecurity updates on project hardware/software.
Prepare and submit service documentation and reports.
Coordinate with site representatives to ensure smooth execution of maintenance tasks.
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Requirements:
Min. Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Strong troubleshooting skills with basic IT network knowledge (e.g. firewall, switches).
Experience in PLC programming, HMI design, and basic C programming is an added advantage.
Valid Class 3/3A driving license is an added advantage.
