Job summary
A leading company in Singapore seeks a Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of facility systems, ensuring optimal function and safety. The candidate will handle maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and support the Facility Manager in operational reliability and compliance, with a focus on mechanical and electrical services. The position requires at least two years of experience in commercial facilities management.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the daily operation of facility systems, including electrical and water meter risers, office and common area HVAC systems, fire alarm system, smoke curtain system, lift and escalators, security, pest control and cleaning, and other related M&E system, to ensure they are in good, healthy, and safe operating condition.
- Identify and troubleshoot root causes of equipment breakdowns during work hours, taking appropriate rectification measures to normalize operations if possible.
- Complete daily activities as instructed by the Facility Manager (mechanical/electrical), conduct daily routine checks thru log sheets, with manual data logging for facility system following observe and report any system abnormalities.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including ad-hoc tasks during and after working hours, to maintain system reliability. Strictly adhere to work instructions and escalate any issues found.
- Assist to supervise any facility works carried out by contractors.
- Attend to and address requests/breakdown calls from respective tenants, e.g. replacement of faulty light bulb, attend to power trip, air-con issues, etc.
- Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as and when requested.
- Maintain good housekeeping in facilities and ensure adherence to safety practices, including safe custody of keys, tools, documentation, equipment, and other properties belonging to facilities.
- Participate in Fire Drill exercise and CERT audits and periodically assist to review contractor assessments and understand the permit-to-work system.
- Support Facility Manager for any building electrical annual shutdown activities if necessary.
- Monitor inventory and maintain records of required spare parts, including safety tools.
- Perform other ad hoc maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
Requirements:
- Qualification and experiences shall be minimum 2 years’ experience in operations and maintenance in mechanical and electrical services in commercial building.
- Working days: Monday to Friday (2 pm to 10 pm), Saturday (On standby)
