Job summary

SCIENTE is seeking a Maintenance System Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic and network systems, ensuring uptime and client satisfaction across sites in Singapore.

You will perform 24x7 on-site installation, maintenance, and diagnostic work, manage system updates, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver reliable service while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• ITE/Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Infocomm, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in system implementation, maintenance, or similar technical roles.
• Experience operating, upgrading, and maintaining Windows Server and Linux systems.
• Provide 24×7 hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end devices and central equipment, ensuring system uptime
• Strong understanding of the full software lifecycle - from deployment to maintenance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and fault analysis skills for system and network issues.
• Familiar with site installation practices, project cycles, and preventive maintenance;
• Strong communication, initiative, and problem-solving abilities;
• Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) is an advantage
• Customer-oriented with the ability to manage expectations and deliver quality support.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot end devices and central equipment, ensuring system uptime.
• Respond to client service requests and provide on-site support when needed.
• Prepare quotations, execute Variation Orders, and manage ad-hoc service works.
• Read construction drawings, plan cable routing, and update as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors on installation and commissioning.
• Perform system updates, patching, and vulnerability remediation under guidance;
• Support contract administration, reporting, billing, and maintenance documentation;
• Ensure compliance with industrial standards, safety regulations, and maintain high service quality;
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates on maintenance activities.
