Job summary

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of mechanical supervisors and contractors in performing plant maintenance, modifications, and construction activities, ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality work without disrupting plant operations.
  • Coordinate with plant operators and other maintenance teams to execute maintenance and modification works safely, maintaining the integrity of facilities.
  • Conduct mechanical studies and modifications of plant facilities according to technical specifications and business requirements.
  • Perform technical investigations on plant equipment issues, evaluate findings, and recommend countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct and arrange training for staff and contractors to enhance skills and competency levels.
  • Respond to plant emergency calls and resolve mechanical issues within tight schedules.
  • Implement and maintain management systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SS651 standards.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in maintenance of mechanical facilities in oil, petrochemical, or power industries.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing static and rotating equipment, including heat exchangers, pressure vessels, agitators, pumps, compressors, and blowers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
