Location: Jurong Island (Company transport provided from Jurong East)
Basic Salary: $3,500 – $5,350
Fixed Allowances:
Transport Allowance: $140/month
Site Allowance: $220/month
Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor and take the lead in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of mechanical systems in a chemical plant environment.
Daily Maintenance Coordination
Plan, schedule, and follow up on daily maintenance activities with internal teams and contractors
Record daily work outcomes and prepare schedules for upcoming tasks
Equipment Troubleshooting & Support
Investigate equipment failures and faults
Support corrective and preventive maintenance efforts to improve reliability
Vendor & Shutdown Coordination
Coordinate day-to-day and shutdown maintenance with internal and external contractors
Manage work planning, execution, and communication with production teams
Maintenance Planning & Reliability
Contribute to long-term maintenance strategies aimed at improving equipment performance and reliability
Inventory & Procurement Support
Monitor and manage spare parts inventory
Support procurement of tools, spares, and services
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate records including calibration logs, maintenance files, and work orders
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal SOPs
Safety & Continuous Improvement
Uphold EHS policies (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)
Actively contribute to workplace safety and help reduce Major Accident Hazards (MAHs) to ALARP levels
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Engineer in a chemical plant
Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with chemical plant equipment
Basic knowledge of maintenance technologies, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes
Strong team player with good communication skills and a proactive attitude
