Job summary

Ley Choon Constructions and Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Mechanic/Driver to join its field teams in Singapore. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment, diagnose issues, and ensure safety standards are met on site.

The role requires a tech diploma, knowledge of engines, hydraulic systems, and ability to read manuals. You must have a valid Singapore work pass and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certificate in mechanical engineering or automotive technology.
• Prior experience working in construction, logistics, or industrial environments.
• Proven experience as a mechanic in relevant fields: vehicle, machinery, or general mechanical work.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools, engines, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Physically fit to handle mechanical tasks and work in various conditions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Valid Singapore work pass / eligibility to work in Singapore.
• For Mechanic (Driver) - valid driving license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair work on company vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Maintain service records and report major issues to supervisors.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in vehicle or machine operation as required (for Mechanic Driver role).
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to support smooth operations.
