Job summary

Ley Choon Group Holdings Limited is seeking a skilled Mechanic/Driver to maintain and repair company vehicles, machinery, and equipment across sites in Singapore. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and keep accurate service records to minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on experience in mechanical work, good reading of manuals, teamwork, and a valid Singapore work pass; a driving license is required for the Driver component.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certificate in mechanical engineering or automotive technology.
• Experience in construction, logistics, or industrial environments.
• Proven experience as a mechanic in vehicle or machinery work.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools, engines, hydraulics, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Physically fit to handle mechanical tasks and work in various conditions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Valid Singapore work pass / eligibility to work in Singapore.
• For Mechanic (Driver) – valid driving license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair work on company vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Maintain service records and report major issues to supervisors.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in vehicle or machine operation as required (for Mechanic Driver role).
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to support smooth operations.
