A leading manufacturing firm in Singapore is looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with at least 10 years of experience in plant maintenance, specifically in chemical or petrochemical plants. Responsibilities include managing preventive maintenance programs, overseeing annual overhaul activities, and monitoring KPIs related to maintenance efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Chemical/Petrochemical plant is preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the maintenance team
  • Directs installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of all equipment, buildings, and grounds necessary for continuity of manufacturing operations and safety of plant personnel.
  • Plans, designs, and directs annual overhaul activities, schedules the overhaul program properly to complete overhaul while minimizing/avoiding operation shutdowns.
  • Prepares designs, specifications, and estimates costs for internal or contracted renovations, modifications, expansions or installation of plant facilities and utilities.
  • Establishes and ensures efficient running of preventive maintenance and service programs, procedures, and record systems
  • Set up Planning/Scheduling & Storekeeper functions ensuring a well-run spare parts warehouse & replenishment process
  • Monitor and report Maintenance KPIs (PM compliance, work completion rate and time, backlog of deferred work).
  • Develop and update plant maintenance strategy along with an annual maintenance budget and then oversee the financial management/implementation of these plans

Requirements:
