Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy that includes routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance for plant equipment and infrastructure.
- Oversee maintenance department, scheduling work and assigning tasks to ensure that maintenance activities are completed timely and efficiently.
Monitor the condition of equipment and infrastructure, implementing corrective measures and upgrades as needed to improve reliability and performance. - Manage maintenance budgets and cost control measures, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with other departments, including production and safety, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of parts and services.
- Implement and manage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and inventory.
- Lead, train, and develop maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Prepare and present reports on maintenance operations and progress to senior management.
Qualification- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- 4 to 5 years' experience in maintenance management.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as process control and instrumentation.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
