Job summary

SMRT Corporation Ltd seeks an Assistant Engineering Maintenance role to support the Engineering Maintenance Manager in preserving MRT infrastructures. You will plan, monitor, and review preventive and corrective maintenance activities to meet LOA and CP 1 standards, ensuring safety and performance across stations and tunnels.

The role requires a diploma in civil/building engineering, experience in building maintenance, and strong planning and communication skills.

Qualifications

Experience in building maintenance.
Knowledge of project management and contract administration.

Responsibilities

Conduct Toolbox Meeting with staff and Contractors’ supervisor for outsource works.
React to urgent faults on duty and ensure safety without impacting train operations.
Liaise with contractors for PM, CM and outsourcing work per approved processes.
Inspect new STEL premises, stations, substations, depot and tunnels for defects and track rectification.
Ensure in-house and outsourced work are performed safely.
Conduct Risk Assessments and review Work Instructions for Preventive Maintenance per LOA.
Check Maximo data entries and verify faults are resolved on time.
Assist EMM to prepare monthly monitoring and other reports requested by LTA.
Attend internal and external audits.
Provide weekly safety briefings and site audit checks for compliance.
