Salary: Up to Basic $5,500 + $300 fixed allowances (based on 3–5 years’ relevant experience)

Location: Jurong Island (transport provided at designated points)

Employment Type: Permanent (with AWS & Variable Bonus)

We are assisting a leading chemical manufacturing company in their search for a skilled Maintenance Engineer (Piping & Project Modification Works) to join their Maintenance Section. You will play a key role in supporting the Maintenance Manager and leading a team to ensure smooth plant operations, timely project execution, and uncompromised safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Maintenance Supervisors and Contractors to execute plant modification & civil works safely, efficiently, and without disruption to operations.
  • Coordinate with plant operators and other maintenance groups for seamless execution of plant modifications.
  • Provide engineering support for troubleshooting plant issues.
  • Conduct engineering studies, cost estimations, and project execution to enhance plant performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Purchasers on bidding documents, technical evaluations, and contractor selection for major works.
  • Plan and deliver training programs to upskill staff and contractors.
  • Implement and maintain management systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SS651, Hazop, and Safety Case standards.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, including as-built records, work procedures, and engineering specifications.
Key Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fixed equipment and piping work within the petrochemical, oil & gas, or related industries.
