Job Descriptions:

  • Lead a team of Mechanical Supervisors and contractors to execute plant modifications and civil works, ensuring timely completion, adherence to safety standards, and minimal disruption to plant operations.
  • Coordinate closely with plant operators and maintenance teams to safely carry out plant modification works while preserving facility integrity.
  • Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and resolving plant issues.
  • Conduct engineering studies, prepare cost estimates, and oversee the execution of plant modifications and projects aimed at enhancing performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing to prepare bidding documents, perform technical evaluations, and select contractors for major engineering projects.
  • Organize and deliver training programs for staff and contractors to improve skills and competencies.
  • Implement and maintain management systems in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SS506, HAZOP, and Safety Case standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation and archiving of as-built drawings, work procedures, and engineering specifications.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in fixed equipment and piping work, preferably within the petrochemical, oil, or gas industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contractors.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with a strong team spirit.
