Start your career as a Maintenance Engineer at Vopak and be responsible for supporting the maintenance organization to develop & execute the 3-Year Maintenance Plan (3YMP) by translating this into a Preventive Maintenance (PM) program and Sustaining / Service / Growth Capex projects to keep the terminal in optimal condition. What will you do as a Maintenance Engineer?

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will develop a 3-Year Maintenance Plan and Preventive Maintenance Program. You will also plan and execute sustaining and service / growth Capex, optimize maintenance, conduct troubleshooting, RCFA, and develop improvement plans.

What do we expect from you?

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Exposure to industrial standards (API, ASME, etc.)
• Familiarity with API 653 and/or 570 is advantageous
• Deep knowledge of terminal products and equipment
• Project and maintenance experience
• Strong data analysis skills for improvement opportunities
• Good knowledge of maintenance, safety, operations, and products
• Understanding of safety, health, and environmental regulations

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop the 3-year maintenance plan with input from relevant managers
• Identify assets requiring preventive maintenance based on risk, regulation, and history
• Determine and adjust preventive maintenance schedules and activities
• Estimate costs and plan inspections
• Manage asset lifecycle and Capex requirements
• Conduct inspections and analyze reports for quality and integrity
• Propose improvements for efficiency and safety
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
• Facilitate audits and support corporate initiatives
• Train maintenance and operations technicians
