About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities, while driving our transition toward predictive and smart maintenance using sensor data and machine learning. This role is critical to maintaining high equipment availability across our Metal Injection Molding (MIM) operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on key equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
  • Implement condition-based monitoring using sensors (vibration, temperature, pressure, etc.).
  • Support data collection and feature extraction for predictive maintenance models.
  • Assist in deploying machine learning algorithms in collaboration with the data analytics team.
  • Work closely with IT/Digital/Automation teams to integrate sensor and equipment data into the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and real-time dashboards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records and prepare for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.

Required Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities; able to interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control logic diagrams.
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and basic machine learning concepts is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Bonus: Experience with CMMS, Python scripting, or Industrial IoT (IIoT) integration.
