A leading company in water/waste water treatment is looking for a Service Manager to oversee maintenance and service operations. The role involves client management, team leadership, and coordination of maintenance tasks to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction. Candidates should possess a degree in engineering and have prior experience in plant maintenance.
Responsibilities:
• Meet with Clients to understand their requirements and propose maintenance and service accordingly.
• Prepare, follow up and negotiate with Clients on the proposal / quotation submitted.
• Schedule and coordinate with Clients on regular maintenance or ad-hoc repair works.
• Lead & manage a team of Technicians to carry out the service, overhaul, or refurbishment work for water /waste water treatment plants.
• Prepare and submit service report to Clients and follow up with payment.
• Provide feedback / suggestion for equipment performance improvement.
• Manage the site and conduct regular maintenance of service tools, and keep good housekeeping.
• Conduct tool box meeting, risk assessment and address safety concerns.
• Ensure all service undertaken meet the stipulated/ planned schedule and budget.
• Manage, improve, and upgrade the good relationship with new & existing clients.
• Other ad-hoc works as assigned.
Requirement:
• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Proficient with MS Office
• Good communication and problem solving skills
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in plant maintenance
• Self-motivated, self-disciplined and team player
