Who are we looking for?

Under the general supervision of the Engineering/Process Improvement Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for organizing and coordinating through internal and external resources to ensure engineering services, maintenance, repairs, building services, and landscaping are performed and comply with all applicable regulations at optimal cost and quality.

What will you be doing?
  • Responsible for the installation of new equipment, and planning and carrying out maintenance programs for the manufacturing facilities to meet safety and service reliability.
  • Inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs all physical plant machinery, heating, cooling, piping, and electrical systems, and records maintenance in accordance with schedules.
  • Responsible for maintenance of manufacturing equipment, providing both preventive maintenance programs and all necessary repairs. Ensures that the factory personnel have safe, efficient equipment to perform their functions.
  • Carry out calibration of load cells and portable scales in the plant every 6 months and according to schedule.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the Deionized Water Plant.
  • Inspect, test, clean, and repair fired equipment, alarms, switches, and sensors.
  • Responsible for facilitating equipment/process improvement projects.
  • Perform machine enhancements and modifications as necessary.
  • Provide technical support to production.
  • Identify potential plant problems or deficiencies and suggest short-term and long-term corrective measures to ensure minimal disruption to production plans.
  • Perform operational troubleshooting activities to manage deviations promptly, effectively, and safely.
  • Coordinate with contractors on repair and maintenance work in the plant.
Who are You?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Relevant industrial experience of about 2 to 5 years, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of working in an operations / supply-chain organization, along with effective engagement with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Maintain tight timelines while meeting targeted savings outcomes.
  • Experience with total cost of ownership reduction and process improvement.
