We are seeking a pro-active and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You are responsible for ensuring the maintenance and reliability of our manufacturing equipments and facility systems. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth production operations, minimizing equipment downtime, maintaining safe, efficient and compliant facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- perform preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment
- troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime
- develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency
- oversee facility maintenance, including compressed air systems, utilities, building infrastructure, and fire safety systems
- coordinate with external contractors, service providers, and vendors for maintenance and repair works
- monitor spare parts inventory, raise purchase requisitions, and manage cost‑effective maintenance operations
- ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities
- support continuous improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and energy‑saving initiatives
- maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare regular reports on equipment performance and downtime analysis
- provide training and guidance to operators/technicians on proper equipment use and basic maintenance
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field
- at least 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- strong knowledge of machinery troubleshooting, utilities, and facility systems
- hands‑on experience with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
- good understanding of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and ISO practices
- strong problem‑solving, planning, and communication skills
