Guide and support the maintenance & facilities technician team in the effective upkeep of equipment, machinery, and utility services.
Plan and execute projects related to plant construction, expansion, equipment installation, and system modifications.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement and enhance Smart Factory and Sustainability initiatives.
Diagnose complex equipment breakdowns and resolve issues to their root cause to minimize downtime.
Execute small-scale, quick-win projects while strategizing larger initiatives that improve equipment uptime and product quality.
Develop preventive and predictive maintenance program to maximize the operating efficiency of the equipment within the allocated budget.
Repair & maintenance expense control in tandem with CAPEX proposal using data driven approach to justify repair vs replace of equipment.
Manage and control maintenance spare parts store and inventory.
Mentor and influence team members on best practices, safety protocols, and policy compliance.
Address urgent, complex & undefined equipment problems and repairs by implementing temporary yet safe solutions to ensure continued operations.
Lead and manage TPM efforts to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Develop maintenance work instructions and train technicians on equipment maintenance requirements, utilizing RTX CORE or equivalent systems.
Uphold EH&S initiatives, policies and procedures.
Support and implement programs aligned with the organization’s strategic roadmap for EH&S, Quality, and CORE initiatives.
Diploma/Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines.
At least 3 years of relevant hands-on equipment and machines maintenance experience.
Proficiency in systematic equipment troubleshooting methodology.
Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, ladder logic and/or assembly drawings.
Self-motivated to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiar with workshop equipment such as Plasma, Vacuum furnace, CMMs, CNC machines, Welding system and NDT tools.
Proficient in engineering software including ProE, AutoCAD, and SAP.
Certification such as Licensed Electrica Worker (LEW), PUB License Plumber and/or Six Sigma.
