Maintenance Engineer
A Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing Mazak products, also must diagnose technical issues, provide on-site or remote support, and offer technical expertise to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Commissioning - Setting up new machine and systems at customer sites.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics- Identifying and resolving technical issues, including conducting diagnostic tests.
- Machine Maintenance and Repairs- Performing routine maintenance, preventive care, and repairs to restore machine functionality.
- Technical Support- Providing technical support to customers, answering queries, and offering guidance.
- Training - Educating customers on proper usage and maintenance of machines.
- Documentation - Maintaining accurate service records and documentation.
- Team work & Collaboration - Working with team members and sharing technical staff to resolve complex problems.
- Safety Compliance - Ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Customer Satisfaction - Prioritizing customer satisfaction through timely and effective service support.
- Staying Updated- Keeping abreast of mazak product trends and technological advancements & developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in a Mechtronics engineering field is often preferred, but experience in machine tool service support or technical support roles can also be valuable.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex machinery.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Prioritizing customer needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ability to analyze technical data and draw conclusions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
