Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Economics or related field is preferred
• Quantitative background in Econometrics, Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics is valued
• Experience in macro research or financial-market research is a plus
• Proficiency in Python and/or R
• Familiarity with econometric concepts

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain macro models for GDP, inflation, current account dynamics, and monetary policy across G10 and EM economies
• Monitor central bank communications to forecast policy trajectories
• Track real-time data releases and assess deviations from consensus
• Translate macro views into trade recommendations across rates, FX, and equities
• Prepare daily/weekly market commentary synthesizing macro developments and positioning data
• Monitor global capital flows, COT, and investor sentiment indicators
• Build and maintain relationships with sell-side economists and macro researchers
