Macro Execution Trader

Job description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Maintain best practice for execution on all trades and ensure the desk is always providing optimal execution service to Portfolio Managers.
2. Proactively support the global Macro business, inclusive of communication of market color and major news events, development of trade ideas, and distribution of internal reporting for senior management.
3. Understand day-to-day risk, regulatory, and compliance concerns associated with all execution matters in coordination with middle/back office and compliance teams.
4. Help innovate operational and technology development associated with the Macro trading business.
5. Manage broker relationships and provide feedback to all our execution counterparties in coordination with TCA/Broker Relations team.

Requirements

1. 3+ years of macro sales or macro trading experience at a sell-side or a buy-side financial firm.
2. Deep understanding and experience across Macro products (Rates, FX), some experience trading other products (equities, commodities, etc.).
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work within a global team, supporting stakeholders on both the business and investment sides.
4. An ability to collate data and perform due diligence on a range of business and investment topics.
5. Commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.
6. Deep curiosity, positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
