Position title: Machine Vision Software Engineer

Location: Admiralty

Working Days: 5 Days A Week

Working hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Salary: $5500 - $8000 (depends on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for vision systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PC based automated visual inspection systems for our full range of semiconductor equipment.
• Evaluate and conduct a feasibility study on the customer’s vision specifications.
• Responsible for integrating any new vision hardware (camera, frame grabber, etc) into the vision software.
• Troubleshooting and improving the processing time of the inspection.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers to fulfill the inspection requirements. Change the vision inspection algorithm to improve the inspection capabilities and its performance.
• Be the key driver for continuous improvement plans for new and existing inspection capabilities.
• Coordinate with customers for any new enquiry with sale personnel if needed.
• Work closely with the vision application and optics team members to produce the best inspection result.
• Build and nurture a culture in an engineering organization of harmony, quality, ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making.

Requirements

• BS Science Diploma or higher in electrical and electronic, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering, or related technical discipline or equivalent practical.
• Technical troubleshooting experience.
• Minimum 3 years in the related field.
• Relevant technical work experience, including automation machine system troubleshooting.
• Experience working with end customers.
• Understanding semiconductor manufacturing process, vision inspection settings, machine software settings, and configuration or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3+ years of experience in software development with C#, WPF, Image Processing, Halcon (bonus)
