Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the CNC machining department, including scheduling, monitoring productivity, and troubleshooting issues.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the CNC machining team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize workflows and implement process improvements.
• Develop and implement training programs to upskill the CNC machining team.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure final products meet the highest standards.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to CNC machining operations.
• Assist in planning and executing preventative maintenance on CNC machines.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in a CNC machining lead or supervisory role, preferably in the Trades & Services or Fitters, Turners & Machinists industries.
• Strong technical expertise in CNC programming, automation setup, and operation, with a deep understanding of machine capabilities and limitations.
• Proven experience in leading and motivating a team, with a focus on training and development.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
