We are currently looking for part-time or full-time Machine Safety and EHS Specialists to join our team and enhance our existing machine safety capabilities. As a Machine Safety and EHS Specialist at ISS, you will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of occupational hygiene, EHS auditing, and process safety, in addition to machine safety. To learn more about our company, please visit our website at www.issehs.com.Your responsibilities will include conducting safety inspections of machinery at various sites, adhering to ISO, IEC, and other relevant standards and predefined checklists. You will be required to perform machine safety risk assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 12100, ISO 13849-1/2, and other relevant ISO and IEC standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and machine builders to standardize safety practices across manufacturing sites in India will be a key aspect of your role. You will also work closely with machine builders to implement solutions aimed at mitigating any safety hazards identified during risk assessments. Additionally, you will provide guidance to develop the Technical Construction Document in accordance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, which includes calculations, schematics, drawings, and test reports. Participation in occupational hygiene, ergonomics, process safety assessments, and EHS audits will also be part of your responsibilities.To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field. Certification in Machine Safety (CMSE), NEBOSH, TUV Functional Safety is preferred.
