Weatherford (Jurong East branch) is currently hiring a full-time Machine Operator. The machine operator is responsible for consistently producing quality and efficient products by performing machine operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring all activities comply with Weatherford’s Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices, and adhere to the Company’s Rules to Live By.
• Be familiar with the Company's Quality policies and actively participate in compliance and improvement initiatives within Weatherford’s Management System.
• Review shop order packets for procedural instructions.
• Perform and assist with machine setups.
• Check dimensions of parts, maintaining tolerances within plus or minus .001.
• Understand and comply with Weatherford Quality Policy and all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
• Use various types of inspection gauges.

Job Qualifications:

• High School Education or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator II.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Capable of carrying out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions.
• Ability to handle problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to interpret work orders and engineering drawings.
• Ability to set up machines.
• Good working knowledge of callipers and micrometers.

Additional Details:

• Working hours: 8 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Night shift work during peak seasons.
• Competitive basic salary + OT + 1 month AWS.
• Meal allowance provided during OT/night shifts.
