This position requires previous experience, initiative and ingenuity and the ability to work independently to produce the highest level of quality and productivity against established standards. Work constructively with Engineering in developing new products. Participate in Lean/Kaizen/CI meetings and make effective recommendations toward improvements in processes and overall productivity.
Core Responsibilities
Perform a variety of duties to operate machines/equipment such as CNC milling, CNC grinding, EDM/Wirecut/Sinker, press and shoot peen to manufacture aircraft engine parts IAW technical documents.
Understand and adhere to all work instructions associated with the work you are performing.
Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties. ( Proper PPE )
Perform jobs in priority order unless instructed otherwise.
Perform and complete the operation you are performing IAW the required technical data referred to in your job traveler. (operation sheets, engine manuals, OEM SPM’s, written instructions from engineering)
Assist engineering with new part development.
Provide trainings to others
Report nonconformance’s related to parts, paper work, equipment, tooling or materials to the immediate Cell Leader.
Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area
Core Requirements
GCE ‘O’ level/Secondary School or equivalent
4 - 5+ years of similar duties in the aerospace environment
