We are seeking an ML Researcher/Applied Scientist in AI/Machine Learning to join our Research & Development Team in Paris. Research Scientists at Upskills lead our efforts in developing novel architecture and solutions to feed our AI-based products and produce research aimed at publication in top AI conferences. Candidates should be experts in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computational statistics, and applied mathematics, especially in natural language processing/understanding, deep learning, and computer vision.

Role Responsibilities/Accountabilities

1. Lead and manage complex R&D projects in applied mathematics, computer science, and machine learning.
2. Contribute to team research and publications.
3. Suggest and engage in team collaborations to meet R&D goals.
4. Bridge the gap between research and engineering teams by applying research to products and solutions.
5. Report and present experimental results and research findings internally and externally.
6. Collaborate with other groups’ activities, including presenting to prospective clients, participating in calls and meetings, and representing Upskills at conferences and events.
7. Ensure timely and quality delivery of results.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Jax.
• Proven research contributions, including publications at conferences.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

• Title of Jeune Docteur.
• Software engineering experience through work, open source contributions, or coding competitions.
• Experience in Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, or Graph Neural Networks.
